SPICA is a girl group formed by B2M Entertainment in 2012.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
Before the formation of SPICA, the members already had much experience with various groups and projects. Jiwon was a member of the group Five Girls along with Uee of After School, Hyosung of Secret, Yubin of Wonder Girls and G.NA; and she was a former member of T-ara as well. BoA was a vocal trainer for Infinite and was seen in a video of Sunggyu, L, and herself singing and playing a cover of Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz's "Lucky." Bohyung used to be a member of 2NE1 before their debut. Narae participated in the contest Super Star K season 1.
Russian Roulette and Painkiller[]
The music video for their debut single, "Potently," was released on January 10, 2012.
SPICA's official debut was with the mini-album Russian Roulette, promoting with the single of the same name. The music video for "Russian Roulette" was released on February 7, 2012.
On March 29, 2012, the repackaged album titled Painkiller was released.
